The game involves surviving in a randomly generated world of blocks of different materials. Players can explore the world, collecting materials and encountering monsters along the way. Materials are needed to create and build everything they want. To start your life in an new world, you always should start by collecting some wood. Next step is to make wooden planks, 4 wooden panks require 1 wood, from wooden planks you can make sticks and tables, from planks and sticks an axe and so on. In MINE BLOCKS players can also tame animals, just find a wolf and give it bones to turn it into a dog. Fill the inventory with various available blocks around the map. To use resources and build something, lay them on the surface until the structure is formed.

To transform collected resources into other things, you just have to open the inventory windows and drag selected item to the crafting square. You can also combine different materials to produce more complicated things, such as various weapons and tools. The goal of the game is determined by the ambition of each player, but the ultimate achievement includes defeating the dragon (the first boss), which waits in a far away dimension. So you can play MINE BLOCKS as long as you want and expand and improve your world as much as you want. There are 2 modes in the game: survival and creative. In survival mode you have to avoid hunger and fight with monsters, whereas in the creative mode players don't have to worry about loosing health or dying and can concentrate on building and creating things.
